Phil’s passion for technology started early in life with a Commodore 64 in 1985. By the age of 12 he was a keen programmer in both basic and machine language, though a gift for creating systems and processes was emerging.

By the end of High School life was taking another direction and he spent most of the next 20 years in retail sales, always feeding his interest in technology with a side business installing and setting up the equipment he and his colleague’s sold.

At 35 after some significant life changes, Phil returned to TAFE to pursue his original passion and then spent several years ‘apprenticing’ with other IT companies before the opportunity to begin Freedom IT presented itself.
